Here is a fun and interesting coin swapping puzzle. The object of the game is to arrange the coins so that the two dimes and the two pennies are exactly swapped. You're allowed exactly eight moves to accomplish this task. There are two ways to move the coins. The first way to move a coin is to simply slide the coin into the empty space. The second way to move a coin is to jump one other coin into the empty space.

Coin Swapping Puzzle Part Two

Here is a another coin swapping puzzle. The object of the game is to arrange the coins so that the nickel and the dime are swapped. The position of the pennies do not matter. You are allowed exactly 17 moves to accomplish this task. To move a coin simply slide the coin into the empty space.

Coin Swapping Puzzle Part Three

Here is a fun and interesting coin swapping puzzle. The object of the game is to arrange the coins so that the three dimes and the three pennies are exactly swapped. You're allowed exactly 15 moves to accomplish this task. There are two ways to move the coins. The first way to move a coin is to simply slide the coin into the empty space. The second way to move a coin is to jump one other coin into the empty space. Coins cannot be moved backwards.

In this coin puzzle you start with eight rows of three dimes. The object is to move two dimes to create ten rows of three dimes.

This puzzle was not as easy as it looked. Most of us were able to solve in less than two minutes, but a few of us took almost five minutes. There are two solutions, however, it is the same sequence of moves using the opposite coins. Here is one of the two solutions.

1. Slide the penny into the open space.

2. Jump the penny with the dime.

3. Slide the dime into the empty space.

4. Jump the dime with the penny.

5. Jump the other dime with the other penny.

6. Slide the dime into the empty space.

7. Jump the penny with the dime.

8. Slide the penny into the empty space.
