The answer is semen. However, it is very unlikely that semen would ever be found in food. How would it get there? If food ever made a person sick, it would be tested for something commonly known to make people sick from eating food. This would include E. coli or salmonella, but certainly not semen. Even if semen was ingested, it is unlikely to make anyone sick. Most diseases related to semen and sexual activity enter the body through the bloodstream and not through ingestion. It is also very likely that organisms in the semen would die in the cooking process. One version of the story mentions HIV, which obviously cannot be contracted through ingestion.

The answer is pus from a tumor. However, this cannot happen because tumors do not contain pus, but a solid mass of cells. Even if there was pus, how did it get past the inspection process? There are least two people inspecting every chicken that is produced. When a fried chicken patty is produced, the chicken is ground-up and other ingredients added to form an easy to prepare round or square patty. If a restaurant uses a full piece of chicken, it has to be pounded flat in the factory so that it will not curl up in the fryer, as this would make it difficult to add other ingredients such as lettuce to the sandwich. Finally, a pus filled tumor would never survive the frying process in the first place.

The correct answer is a penis. According to the facts that simply cannot happen. First of all, the bottling company that produced the juice uses a high-speed automated assembly line which includes the capping process. This would make it nearly impossible to insert an object into a bottle during manufacturing. Secondly, the bottles are clear, so an inspector would easily spot an object inside, as this is what they are specifically trained to do. Further inspection of the object revealed that it was not a human penis of all, but a clump of mold. The cover was not sealed properly, so air got into the container allowing the mold to grow.

The answer is cockroach eggs. However, there is no way this story could be true. First of all, how would they know and prove that the cockroach eggs came from a Taco Bell taco. The cockroach was supposedly eaten, so there's no evidence. Cockroaches carry their eggs in a brown sack the size of a bean. The story mentions that the cockroach eggs got lodged in the salivary glands. There is no way an object that size is going to get into the salivary glands. Even if it got crushed open, the eggs would not survive at this point. Another version of the story mentions a postal worker licking postage stamps and envelopes and then getting cockroach eggs in their mouth through a cut on their tongue.

The answer is HIV-positive blood. However, the story was vague and there was never any news account of it ever happening. The HIV virus is not able to reproduce or survive very long at all outside of its human host. Even if HIV positive blood made its way into a ketchup bottle, the virus would not survive long enough to spread. Also, the only way HIV can spread orally is through sexual contact, mainly through oral sex, not through regular ingestion.

The answer is a human finger. A woman and her husband were eating bowls of chili that they had purchased from a Wendy's restaurant. The woman soon discovered that there was what resembled a human finger in the chili. The object was taken to the health department and was indeed determined to be a human finger. The police investigated and found out that the woman had sued other companies in the past for negligence similar to this one. The police then decided to investigate further and find out where the finger came from. Suspected owners of the finger were a dead aunt and a friend who was attacked by a leopard. There was no dead aunt and the leopard attack related finger was the wrong size. The police were determined to find out who the finger belonged to solve what was now considered a criminal case. When police found out that an associate of the husband had lost a finger in a truck tailgate accident, they were able to determine the finger was planted and the woman and her husband were arrested.

The answer is a fried rat. This is highly unlikely, however, as pretty much all Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants have their chicken pieces delivered frozen and pre-battered, making it unnecessary to even have batter on the premises. This would make it nearly impossible for a rat to be battered and then dropped in the fryer. All chicken is also inspected during processing by at least two people including a member of the USDA. The facilities are also very clean. This would make it unlikely for the rat to get into the chicken parts supply there.

The answer is a human finger. This story is not true. The producers of the Menudo hadn't reported any accidents recently and their workers wear wire mesh gloves to prevent such accidents as fingers being cut off. Inspectors confirmed that the item was not a finger at all, but a piece of connective tissue from tripe, which is one of the main ingredients of Menudo. Even though the story was proven false, the producers of the Menudo lost $1 million in sales.

The answer is animals including rats and mice. The shipment also supposedly contained kittens, puppies and a frozen hawk. This of course is not true. The story accused the restaurant of using these animals in their dishes. The story also continues to state that the owners of the restaurant were arrested. There are even photos of packaged rats and mice. However, the photos came from a website that sells food for snakes, not humans. There were no reports at that time of any Atlanta Chinese food restaurant being closed for illegal shipments, or the owners being arrested.

The correct answer is urine. However, this is unlikely since the steak would not be tested for urine in the first place. If meat ever made someone sick, they would test for E. coli, salmonella or botulism and not urine. Secondly, urine does not make people sick, especially the amount that would be ingested in a few bites of steak. Urine is almost completely sterile and contains no toxic elements. Finally, how did the urine get there? Since it would be impossible to place it there in public, would the disgruntled cook be allowed to run into the bathroom with someone's food in hand?
